3 Tips To Show-Off Your Kitchen’s Potential

If your home is on the market, you likely want to create cohesion and coziness throughout your home. So, why not start with the kitchen? Check out these three simple ways from HGTV to refresh your kitchen:

#1 Transform that empty nook into a coffee bar.

If you have an unused corner of counter space, this may just be the perfect spot for a coffee bar.

Potential buyers will want to see the space as one they can envision themselves living in. Inspiring an image of brewing a nice cup of joe, just might help them to do so.

#2 Create focus.

Kitchens come in all shapes and sizes, and sometimes, that shape or size can be an awkward one. As such, bearing in mind aesthetics, it’s important to create focal points throughout the space.

Depending on the design of your kitchen, these focal points will look different. Nevertheless, items such as window treatments, artwork, lighting pieces, and more can be used to center a space.

#3 Organize the pantry.

Within cabinets and pantries, these spots can easily become disorganized or messy. When showing off your home, be sure these areas are both organized and clean.

You might even go a step further with your organization and categorize your food and other items. To do so, place each food item into a clear through bin and label the bin. So, this means your flour, sugar, various cereals, pretzels, pasta noodles, etc. each receive their own clear-through bin to replace their original boxes.
